The Commission chair and District 1, 3 and 5 races, the District 4 special race and the Soil and Water supervisor race come from the county consolidated sample ballot for November 3, 2026, which is not a certified list. The county qualified-candidate lists differ from the sample. The District 4 list of qualified candidates printed 5/2/2026 includes Aaron A. Sampson, Jr., but the sample does not print him for District 4, so he is not listed there. The Soil and Water list of qualified candidates printed 3/7/2026 has three names, and the sample prints a fourth, Aaron A. Sampson Jr. (Democrat), so he is listed here. Confirm both with the county. Each commission district race is only on the ballot for voters in that district. Two certified write-in candidates for District 5 are on a separate county notice and are not listed. U.S. House and state House and Senate races on the sample are not listed here.
