Terms of use

Vugol Me publishes candidate profiles, poll records, poll aggregates and in-house race signals (Attention scores and Vector ratings). Published aggregate releases are provided as-is, for information; they are estimates derived from third-party polls under a published method, not predictions or guarantees of any outcome. Attention and Vector are ratings, not polls or forecasts, and Vector is labeled experimental.

• One person, one account. Community polls allow one vote per account.
• Don’t attempt to manipulate community polls, impersonate a candidate or campaign, submit false identity evidence in a profile claim, or interfere with the service.
• Campaign-provided profile content must be lawful and yours to publish; it appears under your candidate’s name, labeled campaign-provided. We may remove content that violates these terms.

Anyone may subscribe to a paid plan on these same terms: reporters, researchers, citizens, and also campaigns, parties, committees and their staff. We disclose this so nobody has to wonder: subscribers, whoever they are, receive the same data as everyone else on the same plan and have no influence over ratings, rosters, poll verification or releases. There are no sponsorships, no paid ratings and no advertising.

• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in US dollars, through Stripe. The yearly price is ten times the monthly price and is charged once for the whole year.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price then published on the pricing page, until cancelled. Price changes never apply mid-period; we announce them on the pricing page before they take effect at renewal.
• Sales tax is added at checkout where applicable.

Cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: your plan stays active until then and does not renew afterwards.

• Yearly plans: on request within 30 days of the charge, we refund the unused portion pro rata and end the plan at the refund date. After 30 days, no refund; the plan runs to the end of the year.
• Monthly plans: no refund; cancel and the plan ends at the end of the current month.
• Requests go to vugolme@gmail.com from the address on the account.

Poll results remain the work of their pollsters and are attributed with links to the original publication. Vugol Me releases and tables may be republished under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license with the attribution string given on the data license page, which also states what is public domain, what belongs to pollsters, and how Wikipedia-sourced text and images are licensed. Candidate facts sourced from government records are public information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VEDAVERE, LLC is not liable for decisions made in reliance on published aggregates, ratings or profiles. If we publish an error, we correct it on the record: a superseding release is issued and the record of the correction stays public. See corrections.

We may update these terms; material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
