His district in Pennsylvania, which was numbered the 8th district during his first term and the 1st district since 2019, includes all of Bucks County, a mostly suburban county north of Philadelphia, as well as a sliver of Montgomery County. A Republican, Fitzpatrick was first elected to Congress in 2016. He won re-election to a fifth term in 2024.
