System status
The site updates itself: each automatic job runs once a day at its own time, a watchdog retries anything that failed, and the owner is emailed once when something stays broken. Every run records when it started, when it finished, how many rows it wrote and any error.
Needs attention 1 of 22 automatic jobs need attention. 2 ran on partial data (Attention and Vector ratings, Problem emails to the owner). The rest of the site keeps working; affected sections show older data.
- Race polls, results, money and calendar (races-wiki): The last run failed: canceling statement due to statement timeout. It last worked 2026-09-29 11:07 UTC. This looks temporary; the next scheduled run should fix it on its own. What visitors notice: Race polls, primary results, fundraising totals and election dates stop updating.
- Attention and Vector ratings (partial data): The last run finished, but on partial data (20 of 20 candidate fetches failed (gdelt 20) · e.g. source failed: gdelt (HTTP 429 (GDELT is throttling this server))). What it could fetch is on the site. Nothing to do: the next scheduled run tries the missing part again, and the site keeps the data it has.
- Problem emails to the owner (partial data): The last run finished, but on partial data (alert email not sent, Mailjet refused it: API key authentication/authorization failure. You may be unauthorized to access the API or your API key may be expired. Visit API keys management section to c). What it could fetch is on the site. This will not fix itself: a setting, key or permission is missing or wrong and needs someone to change it.
Jobs
Never run means no record exists. Failed means the most recent run ended with an error. Partial data means the most recent run finished, but a source was down, throttling us or blocked, so part of its data is missing until a later run. Did not finish means a run started but never reported back. Stale means the last successful run is older than 36 hours. Ok means the most recent run succeeded within that window. Times are UTC.
